My goal, as a teacher, is to foster a deep-seated love for music that will transcend the student’s lifetime and enable them the ability to put music out into the world. I aim to create well rounded musicians—not just a piano player, or just a singer—a musician. Meaning, my goal is never just to teach the basics of an instrument. Through a judgment free environment, full of creativity and empowerment, I strive to make music empowering and accessible, by instilling a genuine understanding of music at its core, via music theory, ear training, performance, composition, music notation and technique.” -Jacqueline Jensen
